About Camp Tails and Trails
Camp Tails and Trails is a quaint little RV / Tent campground nestled deep in the Blue Ridge Foothills, with easy access off
Interstate 85. We offer 8 spacious, secluded campsites which all include electric, water and sewer hook ups.
At Camp Tails and Trails, our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, fun camping area for dogs and their owners. Many dog friendly camping areas allow dogs, but are they really dog “friendly”? Camp T & T is!!! We want to ensure the whole family has a great vacation together!!
We have made sure to leave as much of the natural environment on the property intact as possible for environmental preservation. We have left plenty of space and wooded area between campsites as well, for privacy and to reduce barking and reactivity between our canine friends.
About the Owner
Debbie McAvey lived in the Myrtle Beach, SC area for over 50 years. Over the years, she has spent much of her free time hiking the many waterfalls of SC's Upstate. Her dream has been to live in the mountains, surrounded by waterfalls for quite some time now, and her dreams have finally come true!!
Debbie has 3 beautiful daughters, 4 amazing grandchildren, and 2 super sweet senior pups of her own.
Debbie is a retired Force Free dog trainer. She owned and operated Deb’s Doggercise in Myrtle Beach for 10 years, and recently sold her business to pursue her dream of having a dog friendly campground in the mountains where owners and their dogs from all over the country could come and enjoy these magnificent sites in nature, as she has. Deb’s Doggercise provided Force Free daycare, boarding, grooming and training for the dogs of the Grand Strand.
Debbie is passionate about dogs and their well being. Debbie is also the founder of Force Free Rescue Rehabilitators, a dog rescue organization in Myrtle Beach.
