Oconee County Waterfalls

Waterfalls are truly amazing to see and experience. We are so fortunate here in the Carolinas to have over 800 falls between SC and NC to enjoy. Breathtaking scenery surrounds you on each and every hike, every view is stunning in it's own way. While I fully encourage all of you to get out, get moving, and experience all of the incredible nature our area has to offer, I must also caution you to please BE CAREFUL. Mountain terrain, and slippery waterfalls rocks can be dangerous, and even fatal if not explored with caution, respect, and common sense hiking practices. Below I have listed most of the hike-able waterfalls in Oconee. I have sorted them into sections to help you plan your visit. No one wants to spend half of their day driving back and forth across the mountains, it is so much easier to hike the falls in sections .There are many others waterfalls in surrounding counties as well!!
