CAMP TAILS AND TRAILS RULES AND POLICIES
The following Rules and Policies apply to all guests to Camp Tails and Trails RV and Tent Campground. These Rules and Policies are in addition to and incorporate herein by reference the terms of the Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Release each guest must sign before entering the Campground. Camp Tails and Trails reserves the right to remove from the Campground any guests whose conduct is deemed improper or in violation of these Rules and Policies. Your cooperation with these Rules and Policies is appreciated and will help make Camp Tails and Trails a fun and safe environment for all guests. Thank you.
RVs, Campers, Trailers & Vehicles
· One recreational vehicle (RV/Camper) and one regular vehicle (car or regular size truck) OR trailer are permitted per campsite
· All RVs, Campers, Trailers and accompanying vehicles of any type must be in safe, working condition. There may not be any mechanical issues with your equipment that cause damage to the campground, utilities, or other guests or their property.
· Golf Carts are permitted for use around the campground. Please be respectful of other guests and their dogs. Some dogs may be fearful of or reactive towards moving vehicles. Please go slow, drive safely, and give everyone plenty of space.
· Motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, and other such vehicles may be used to enter and exit the campground, but we ask that guests keep speed slow and noise to a minimum and refrain from using these types of vehicles to travel around the campground.
· ATVs, dirt bikes, go carts, and the like may not be driven on the property.
· Bicycles are welcome, as long as ridden safely and with respect for space of other guests and their dogs.
· You are responsible for any damage caused by you or your vehicle while on campground property, to the campground, other guests, and other guests' property.
· You are responsible for the safety of your own vehicle. Camp Tails and Trails is not responsible for any damage that may occur to your vehicle.
· All vehicles must be operated safely and responsibly. If any guest is seen driving recklessly or not following these rules, we may ask them to leave or refrain from using their vehicle for the remainder of their stay.
Campsites
· Tent and RV/ Camper / Van camping is permitted in designated areas only. All sites are tent compatible. Designated tent only sites may only be used by tent guests.
· Guests may bring solar showers to use at their campsites.
· You are responsible for cleaning up your campsite daily. Leftover food and trash will attract bears and other unwanted wildlife to your campsite. There are dumpsters located near the campground exit for guests to use. If excessive trash is found at your campsite once you have checked out, Camp Tails and Trails reserves the right to apply a $50.00 cleaning fee to your final charges.
· Quiet time is from 10:00pm until 7:00am. Please be respectful of others, and help us maintain a quiet, peaceful, relaxing environment for everyone.
· DO NOT enter another guest’s campsite without being invited.
· DO NOT approach another guest’s dog without being invited.
· Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Children are certainly welcome, but please make sure your children respect appropriate boundaries and personal space when near other guests' dogs. Not all dogs are comfortable being approached by strangers, and we want to make sure all of our guests are safe and comfortable at all times. Children are not allowed to taunt, tease, or yell at campers or their dogs, or otherwise cause disruption for fellow guests. Guests are responsible for the actions and safety of any children in their custody, care, or keeping. Guests will be held responsible for any disturbances or damage caused by children in their custody, care, or keeping.
· Any aggressive behaviors towards humans or dogs (verbal or physical) will result in termination of your stay. No refunds will be given.
· There is dangerous wildlife around the campground. Do not leave out food or trash. Please place in designated bear proof dumpster. Do not approach or feed wildlife. Do not let your dogs or children harass, feed, approach, or kill the wildlife.
· The campground is in the woods, there are trees, roots, branches, and uneven ground. Please watch your step and stay on the cleared paths.
· Guests shall be solely responsible for any damage, intentional or accidental, they cause to the campsites or other property or equipment on the campground.
· In case of bad weather, it is your responsibility to store or secure all belongings.
· Guests shall observe common courtesy at all times, and shall conduct themselves in a civilized, polite, and orderly manner at all times. As such, use of profanity or abusive language, loud behavior, or offensive activity including public intoxication, will not be tolerated.
· Neither Camp Tails and Trails, or any of its employees or agents are responsible for any fire, theft, or acts of God causing damage to property belonging to guests, nor shall Camp Tails and Trails be liable for any personal injuries to any guests on the campground.
· Any signs or flags that are vulgar, offensive, or contain any suggestive material are prohibited in the campground. Camp Tails and Trails reserves the right to require the removal of anything that might be deemed unsafe or inappropriate.
Pets
· All dogs are welcome. There are no breed or size restrictions. However, unruly or aggressive dogs are not permitted. We ask for everyone's help in keeping our campground safe and free of dangerous incidents that may compromise the safety of the campground.
· Dogs must be kept on a 6' leash when not inside your RV or a fenced enclosure. Guests must be able to control their dogs at all times.
· Dogs may not enter other guests’ campsites, unless invited by the guests. Failure to adhere to this will result in termination of your stay. No refund will be given.
· Dogs may not show aggressive behavior towards other guests or their pets. Camp Tails and Trails reserves the right to ask guests to leave if their pets are aggressive and pose a threat to other guests. No refund will be provided.
· Dogs must be accompanied by their owners at all times.
· Dogs may not be left outside when owners are not present.
· Dogs may not be loose at any time.
· It is the responsibility of the owners to clean up after your dogs. Dog owners shall immediately clean up all animal waste and dispose of it in an appropriate and sanitary way. There are dog waste receptacles placed around the campground for your convenience.
· Owners must be able to provide proof of current rabies vaccination if asked. By signing, you agree that your dog is up to date on their rabies vaccination.
· Cats are welcome, but must stay inside your RV or camper while at the campground, for their own safety. We ask that you do not walk cats around the property or let them loose outside of your vehicle as this can be unsafe around unknown dogs.
· No other animals are permitted, unless they stay inside your camper at all times. This must be discussed with Camp Tails and Trails ownership before your reservation is approved.
· Exotic animals are not permitted.
· Any damage done to persons, property, or pets by any animal belonging to you or in your care or keeping may result in termination of your stay. No refunds will be given. You are responsible for any monetary expenses that may result from damage caused by any animal belonging to you or in your care or keeping.
· Any animal that attacks, threatens, or bites any person or other pet, must be removed from the campground immediately.
Alcohol, Firearms, Fireworks, & Video Recording
· Alcohol is permitted within your campsite. Please use responsibly and be considerate of other guests. Loud, unruly, or dangerous behavior may result in you and your party being asked to leave the campground.
· Firearms: Open carry is prohibited in the campground. Discharging of any firearm is prohibited in the campground.
· Fireworks are prohibited in the campground.
· Illegal drugs are prohibited on campground property.
· Professional video recording for the use of publication or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, webcasts, and/or advertising is prohibited unless granted permission by owner.
These Rules and Policies are subject to change at any time, in Camp Tails and Trails sole and absolute discretion. Camp Tails and Trails decisions regarding the interpretation and enforcement of these Rules and Policies are final and are not subject to review.
